One-of-a-Kind Hand Knotted Tribal Khotan Light Blue Area Rug

About the Item

The city of Khotan was a key trading post along the Silk Road, and the rugs woven there for centuries incorporated Chinese, Persian, and Western influences. Hand-knotted of soft, durable wool, this collection pays tribute to the original inventive designs, reimagining them in palettes that complement today’s homes. -One-of-a-kind rugs take at minimum 4 months to complete by hand. Our Artisans continue to use techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation of craftsmen, weavers, and dyers. -Made using plant-based dyes that create rich, saturated colors, their organic origins mean they are ecologically conscious and free from harsh chemicals and synthetic compounds -Due to the unique nature of each piece, imperfections in these rugs are part of their beauty that should be celebrated in your home -Material: 100% Wool -Size: 8' 0" x 9' 7" -Made in Pakistan.
