Made with a particular blend of heavy, durable wool and sheen silk unique to this custom rug collection, this contemporary European style rug “Cartagena” by Rug & Kilim rug is one of the latest celebrated additions to its collection, standing out among an archive of historic inspirations recaptured with grace and modern quality. The rolling, cloud-like whimsy in the field geometry enjoys a tasteful, meticulous stylistic definition that offers an intelligent juxtaposition to the more traditional, ornately intricate border geometry; creating dimensionality while both enjoy the skillful sheen of silk in the more radiant hues made to complement the richer colors enjoying this appealing pile texture; the work of one of the most respected workshops in Nepal.
