Hand knotted in silk, this 8 x 10 transitional rug is an addition to the European rug collection by Rug & Kilim, affectionately dubbed “Toledo” for its inspiration hailing from a distinctive classic rug design of the same sensibility.
On the design: The play of the rich, regal gold and red hues with the more muted, subtle blue and silver tones brings out the range of the silk’s natural sheen, itself complementing the sense of movement and length in this mirrored, kaleidoscopic floral pattern and its skillful variations of definition; an achievement in capturing classic European rug sensibilities with modern features.
Custom capable: This 8 x 10 floral rug from the European rug collection features additional stock in alternate sizes and alternate colors, with further custom capabilities also available upon request within 4 months. Hand knotted in one of our most reputed long-standing partner looms in Nepal.
