Hand knotted in one of the most respected looms in Nepal, this 9 x 12 rug joins the European collection by Rug & Kilim-this design affectionately entitled “Granada” named for the Spanish province of inspiration. This edition of Granada exemplifies the complementary luster of the pure 100% silk body select pieces from the collection enjoy, bringing out both the autumnal beige-brown and green hues as well as the whimsical pink-red accents in such a natural play with the soothing floral repetition. The marriage of grace and definition in this scale is ultimately distinctive and regal for an 8 x 10 rug of this quality, embodying the appeal of the curvilinear patterns synonymous with this private collection.
