71919, vintage Afghan Karabin Enssi Prayer rug, tent door wall hanging. This hand knotted wool vintage Afghan Karabin Enssi prayer rug features a double mihrab surrounded by horizontal star bands and vertical compartment bands filled with stylized flowers. The double mihrab compartment is surrounded by seven vertical columns of serrated V-shapes. Each mihrab displays a horn-shape motif above the mihrab. It is enclosed with quincunx motifs and double Ram's Horn border. Perfect for a prayer room, entry, hall, stair landing, hallway, kitchen, corridor, living room, bedroom, bathroom, library, mud room, study, studio, sitting room, grand foyer and long entryway.
