Antique Peking Chinese Rug with Ecru Field and Phoenix Motif
About the Item
The ecru field show a round rock and phoenix motif with spaciously set branches, sprays and butterflies, within colourful openwork floral corners. Main dark blue and inner medium blue borders both reveal related types of foliage tracery. Narrow plain ecru outermost surround. The feng-huang and scholars rock give it an undeniable Chinese authenticity. Good condition.
