Antique Tibetan Rug Snowflakes Design with Medallion Multi-Color, 1900-1920

About the Item

This is an antique Tibetan mat rug woven during the beginning of the 20th century circa 1900-1920 and measures 81x 68CM in size. its field is comprised of lattice design using geometric motifs which represent snowflakes set on a red background color. The border is made using the Greek key design which can be found in many Chinese and Tibetan textiles set on the same red background color as the field. This piece has been preserved and excellent condition retaining most of its original full lustrous pile making it an excellent collector piece that can be used and enjoyed for many more years.
