Handwoven in wool, this 3x10 Kilim runner is a new unveiling Rug & Kilim’s European Collection by Rug & Kilim, inspired by 18th century Aubusson flatweaves.
On the Design:
Inspired by 18th century French Aubussons, the flatweave enjoys a play of rich brown and bright blue in diamond lattices with off-white floral patterns within. further note the fine detail and scale for its large Size, and admire the sense of depth and movement it achieves. The look is so tasteful, both regal and elegant yet forgiving and comfortable in its colors—exemplary of transitional Aubussons and similar French rugs like those that inspired this flatweave runner.
