Hand-knotted in cotton and originating from India circa 1920-1930, this 9x12 antique Agra rug is an exciting new curation from Rug & Kilim. On the Design: Keen eyes will admire the variety of bright and vibrant jewel tones, and the fabulous texture of a thick pile that complements the playful look they lend the piece. The red field is beautifully saturated, and its medallions enjoy a notable lavender presence among the many colors matching the border. This piece’s marriage of color and comfortable, sophisticated pattern in such large size and excellent craftsmanship are all exemplary of R&K Principal Josh Nazmiyal’s personal favorite Agra carpets of this period. Condition: This antique Indian rug further enjoys good condition for its age and origin.
