This exquisite designer carpet derives its indisputable sublimity from its creators, the widely renowned M Group. Just as every project coming from the hands of the skilled designers, this one is distinguished by effortless elegance, practicality and chic with a nod towards Classicism and Fine Arts.
Its concept builds upon the intriguing texture and the play of colors rather than any patterns, motifs or figurative representations. The level cut pile forms visible striations which bring to mind Grand Canyon rock layers throughout the Colorado Plateau, while the mixing shades of warm brown further highlight the geological association.
Looking at this contemporary carpet from a certain distance, one con not help feeling it is made of copper thread as it almost seems to radiate golden glow due to the masterful application of light and dark tones of maroon. But yet, no copper was involved in the making process of this wondrous piece. Instead, the soft pile was thoroughly hand-executed of the finest wool according to old and refined weaving techniques which ensures the carpet’s longevity and firmness.
