This new rug combines features of traditional tribal craft with contemporary trends. Its face is covered in an allover diamond pattern characteristic of nomadic Berber tribes. In the language of kilim motifs, a diamond symbolizes protection against the Evil eye. The traditional design is delicately outlined in a tone-on-tone palette of gold which makes this new rug preserve the magical Oriental aura while being adjusted to modern decorating standards.
