This 8x10 rug is an exciting new addition to the Mid-Century Modern rug collection by Rug & Kilim. Hand-knotted in wool, cotton and silk, this piece is a designer rug in collaboration with artist El Gato Gomez.
The rug recaptures Gomez’s unique take on the atomic age aesthetic in a play of abstract geometry and pictorial elements. Its design favors bold colorways with purple, black, silver-gray and red notes that sit gorgeously in the silk’s natural sheen. Its thick, durable body represents our highest quality construction, too, and offers an ideal choice in rooms with furniture. Keen eyes will admire the sharp details and curvature unlike any in this room size, and the immersive element it lends this art rug.
