About the Item
A positively gorgeous African rug from the region of Morocco or Tunisia. It is an interesting and highly complex canopy of colors for your floor, the host of woven durable full pile fibers, geometrical representations of intricate designs that take you on an intriguing journey. The polychrome field with four columns of nine square panels each enclosing a cruciform medallion, within a hooked reciprocal border. The pattern details and the colors used indicate this to be of North African origin and could be of either Tunisian or Moroccan. Excellent full pile condition. A superb presentation in this African rug retaining a plush and pliable structure with an even worn low pile bringing the geometry of the rug to the absolute forefront. Indeed, young in life and capable of outlasting a lifetime when properly cared for a treasure of a find for your decor.
