Vintage Berber Kilim in Blue, Pink Geometric Lozenge Pattern by Rug & Kilim
About the Item
Originating from Morocco circa 1950-1960, a vintage Berber Kilim from Rug & Kilim’s titular Moroccan rug collection. Hand-knotted in Boucherouite fabric and wool fibres, this 5x9 piece is a concoction of pile and flat weave - making it a rare piece in this shag/high pile seldom seen in this tradition. Further, a definitive geometric pattern in shades of blue, pink, and red highlights the traditional nomadic sensibilities that the style is known for. Existing in good condition for its age and lineage, a great choice for living rooms and drawing rooms.
