About the Item

Featuring a rich deep blue hue with abrash, this vintage Beni Mrirt was woven in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco in the 1950’s. Aside from its stunning color, this rug is exceptionally unique for its larger than average width which is a rare find among authentically woven vintage Moroccan rugs. Most of our heavily worn rugs have a fully restored foundation so that the rug secured and free of holes. 0-1 Near flawless, original condition without visible repairs. 2-4 Very slight even wear, slightly faded colors. 5-6 Moderate wear in a few areas, small amount of foundation may show in some areas. Repairs may be visible upon close inspection. 7-8 Moderate wear throughout. Some repairs may be visible upon close inspection. Most of our rugs with this level of wear have a fully restored foundation that is strong and free of holes. 9-10 Heavy wear, lots of foundation showing. Repairs may be visible upon close inspection.
