About the Item
This lovely vintage runner rug has been sourced in the area of Azilal, Morocco. It is made of multiple, colorful cotton threads, recycled pieces of clothes and wool threads knotted together. Women in Morocco have been using this technique for generations to recycle the family clothes cutting them in tiny, colorful pieces of fabric they assemble following their imagination.
I picked that one from piles of carpets because it is really unique! You will never see something similar. You have probably seen these rugs hang on wall into interiors on Pinterest. They make such nice abstract art to brighten a room! And again this one is definitely a special one with such a great composition!
Approximate dimensions are 2.1x5feet (+4inches tassels) / 66x155cm (+10cm tassels). The rug has not been cut and is in its original shape.
