About the Item
I found this colorful rug in a small berber village during a sourcing trip in the area of Azilal; I saw it from the road as it was hanging in the sun and I was glad I could meet the maker named Fatima. The rug is so joyful and bright that I couldn't leave it behind! The composition is quite simple, made of multiple unregular diamonds into rectangles. A colorful rug you could definitely hang on a wall like a piece of berber art!
The rug is made of cotton threads knotted on a wool base and is a low to medium pile.
Rug collectors will enjoy the fact that they can move this versatile rug all around the house, from the bedside to the kitchen or the entryway of course. At home, you can wash it using water and a little bit of soap, which makes it very easy when you have pets or kids around!
Approximate dimensions are 4.1x5feet (+4inches tassels) / 125x152cm (+10cm tassels).
The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape.
