About the Item
This one is a collector rug! Probably from the Boujad region, this area rug shows a bold pattern I have never seen before! The composition is made of a central serie of hooked triangles surrounded by zigzags like simplified mountains. Four vegetal figures appear on the pink ending and the whole rug, despite its neon colors, makes me think about Nature.
The main part of the rug is a fuchsia, with a purple part and black frame. Designs all over the rug come in acid yellow, purple, black and grey. A warm, unique rug that would work both in eclectic, new bohemian or modern interiors if you ask me!
The rug is handmade 100%, made of sheep wool on a cotton base. Medium pile.
Approximate dimensions are 6.8x12.7feet (+6inches tassels) / 207x387cm (+15cm tassels).
The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape. Note that it is quite unusual to find a real vintage moroccan rug that is near 7feet wide.
