Moholy-Nagy 'Chicago Bauhaus' Angelo Testa V'Soske Rug

About the Item

Fabulous and important. This rug by Chicago Fabric designer Angelo Testa (the first graduate of Moholy Nagy's continuation of The Bauhaus in the US: The Institute of Design) is atypical of Testa's work, but more typical of the "Bauhaus" style of his teacher: Lazlo Moholy-Nagy. Ref: "Decorative Art 50: The Studio Year Book 1960-1961" Davis page 69. Provenance: The Estate of Angelo Testa and the Estate of Alan Moss.
