Antique American Quilt

About the Item
There is no overarching color composition to either the square sections nor to their associated six-point stars on this richly toned antique quilt. The stars are not perfectly oriented, either, tilting, standing on one or two legs, and generally falling like polychrome snowflakes. The mobility of the stars gives this Fine condition piece a playful and ingenuous character.
