TYPE O BEGAN WITH A SMALL, XEROXED LETTER “O” SEEN ON A ROCK SHOW POSTER IN SEATTLE – THEN MOVED THROUGH MANY CYCLES OF SCANNING, DISTORTION AND DIGITAL MANIPULATION – FINALLY ENDING IN A RUG, THE DESIGN HAVING GROWNEXPONENTIALLY IN SIZE. FROM A ONE-INCH HIGH PIECE OF TYPOGRAPHY XEROXED ON PAPER TO A 10X12 FOOT DENSE AND TEXTURED WOOL RUG. TYPE O IS A LUXURIOUS HAND-KNOTTED TIBETAN WOOL RUG FEATURING FOUR DIFFERENT PILE HEIGHTS.
