Beautiful vintage native American Navajo rug from the SW United States from the mid 1900s. The Navajo rug has an eye dazzler medallion pattern. The rug has a beautiful maroon-red background with two medallions in ivory, black, gray colors. Navajo rugs are generally flat woven with wool for the body of the rug and usually cotton foundation.
