Antique Persian runner rug handwoven from the finest sheep’s wool and colored with all-natural vegetable dyes that are safe for humans and pets. It’s a traditional Bijar design featuring floral details in brown and red over an ivory field. It’s a stunning piece to get for modern, contemporary and rustic spaces. It has a dimension of 4’2” x 10’3” which is perfect for entryways, hallways, bedrooms, and living areas. Bijar is a small town in ancient Persia largely populated by Kurds who infused their rug creations with motifs from their own culture. Kurdish weavers took pride in the durability of their work; Bijars are highly compact which help prevent dirt particles from getting lodged into the rug.
