1940s Persian Runner Rug

About the Item

An exceptional Persian runner rug, handwoven in the 1940s. A dynamic design comprised of three central medallions with floral and animal motifs. The wool is dyed in a striking palette of bright reds and oranges, with details in blues, beiges, and greens. Surrounding the medallions is a series of bands that repeat these same colors in an arrangement of geometric and floral symbols. Dimensions: 4' 6" x 8' 2" (54 in. x 98 in.) SKU: NY-1110-20-002
