About the Item

This unusual Chahar Mahal (western Persia) kenare (runner) shows an ecru field with an allover, small-scale pattern of X’s alternating with geometric flowers. Main border of slanted geometric S’s. Ecru minors with flip flop vine with attached tulipoid palmettes. Moderate/medium weave. Good condition.
