A beautiful distressed, muted Heriz vintage rug with classic colors: Bisque, Sandstone Caramel, Indigo, Ebony, Coca Mocha, Baritone Blue.

This wonderful and stunning example comes from the southern part of the Azerbaijan region. It is a beautiful classic vintage piece from Midcentury, semi antique, circa 2nd Quarter 20th Century. It is hand-knotted with wool, a sustainable material.
Condition: perfect vintage wear, fresh washed. Excellent worn to perfection look, ultra low pile.
Size is: 9’8” x 13’4”

Structure: low wool pile
The design can be categorized in Persian rugs, Caucasian rugs, Karabagh rugs, Azeri rugs, Heriz rugs and Turkish rugs. The age is vintage or semi antique.
Shape: Rectangular (rugs from villages and tribal origin are never exactly straight an even in shape).
