Hand-knotted in wool circa 1910-1920, this 10x14 antique Persian rug is believed to be a Mahal rug—a renowned work from the titular city of Mahallat. On the Design: Similar to Sultanabad rugs, Mahal rugs enjoy an alluring appeal in an intricate quality. This design enjoys an all over floral pattern in rich browns with warm beige and desert tones.
