Antique Malayer with Blue Colors and Classic Persian Medallion
About the Item
In a classic Persian medallion style and popular palette, this urban/village scatter features a red-rust field in a loosely rendered Herati design, with a blue medallion and pendanted blue corners. Strip style light blue main border with reversing turtles. Slight end reduction and an issue at top border. In the prevailing Kashan style of the period. On cotton, medium weave.
