Antique Malayer Scatter Rug, Neutral Palette with Yellow Accents, Circa 1930s
About the Item
A thick pole medallion of three, finger-fringed lozenges is set on a dark brown subfield, which, in turn, is placed on a cream field with pentagonal side projections. Pale gray border with rosettes and slanted leaves. Cotton foundation, medium weave. Some interesting yellow accents around the rug as well.
