78518 Antique Persian Malayer Rug, 04'01 x 06'03. Emanating timeless style with incredible detail and texture, this hand knotted wool antique Persian Malayer rug is a captivating vision of woven beauty. They eye-catching Herati design and traditional color palette woven into this piece work together creating a truly Classic look. A hooked pole medallion decorated with Herati motifs runs along the center of the open navy blue field. Small animal motifs and eight-point stars further ornament the composition. Jagged ziggurats, stylized floral bouquets, birfs, and pinwheel symbols frame the inner edges. The corner spandrels echo the Herati pole medallion. It is framed with a geometric border enclosed with an inner and outer carnation Meander guard band.
Rendered in variegated shades of navy blue, brown, red, ink blue, tan, rose, and taupe with other accent colors.
