Antique Persian runner rug 11372 handwoven from the finest sheep’s wool and colored with all-natural vegetable dyes that are safe for humans and pets. It’s a traditional Tabriz weaving featuring a lovely ensemble of floral designs in brown and white over an ivory field. It’s a stunning piece to get for contemporary and rustic spaces. It has a dimension of 3’ x 18’5” which is ideal for hallways, staircases, living rooms, and dining areas. Tabriz is the capital city of East Azerbaijan Province, Iran which is close to the border of Turkey. It has earned the reputation of producing some of the finest rugs in the world particularly those commissioned by the great Shah Abbas during the 15th and 16th centuries. Tabriz even gained more prominence in the 19th century when famous carpet makers Haji Jalili, Kurban Dai, and Sheik Safi produced exceptional designs that graced royal courts as well as the homes of the rich and famous.
