Beautiful antique Tribal Kurdish Persian Rug runner 49275, country of origin / rug type: Persian rug, date circa 1900. This is an antique Kurdish rug, a beautiful antique runner rug that combines an earth tone background with colorful blue and terracotta accent color palettes. The geometric and floral motifs emphasize the light and dark contrast, and the repeating diamond shaped medallions draw attention to the middle of this antique carpet. Stylized flowers soften the geometrical pattern. Large, solid color background surfaces alternate with intricate decorative design, which creates interest and adds an attractive harmony to the antique Persian rug.
