About the Item
This village piece shows a clear influence of the “American Sarouk” style, with detached, complex curvilinear floral sprays on a dark blue field. Ecru main border with oval upright petal palmettes and spacer floral sprays. Medium weave on cotton. Lighter texture than contemporaneous Saruk carpets. Good condition.
