Deep Brick Colored Antique Serapi
About the Item
The deep brick field of this almost square village piece shows a pendanted, octogramme medallion with internally radiating palmettes and an ivory finger peripheral fringe. Similarly fringed ivory corners. Leaves and stylized small flowers populate the field. Strip style rust-red reversing turtle main border. Good condition with moderate weave and cotton groundweave.
