About the Item
In delicate shades of light brown and neutral cream wool, this hand-knotted Oushak carpet measures 4'1" x 5'10" and belongs to the Orley Shabahang World Market Collection. Inspired by a traditional Persian Oushak flower garden design, this carpet features an all-over pattern with large flower bulbs connected by vine and garland motifs. The soft brown wool background provides the perfect subdued contrasting tone for the light cream detailing. To complete the design, the floral garden is surrounded by a thin border, acting as an exterior walkway for the garden, composed of simple open flower bulbs and caterpillar motifs.
