About the Item

With an impressive and eye-catching floral medallion, this inviting and geometric carpet measures 7’2” x 9’4” and was woven in Iran circa 2013. Crafted with a Persian-inspired weave, this carpet’s woolen pile is plush, and luxurious, and possesses a unique softness only comparable to silk. Colorful flower and butterfly motifs, detailed in red, light blue, gold, green, orange, and indigo wool, live harmoniously in nature and similarly create a cohesive design within this carpet’s medallion. Most notably in this carpet, the stark contrast between the gold of the medallion and border and the indigo of the repetitively lozenged field creates an eye-catching display.
