This antique, circa 1900, Malayer rug has a field with diagonal rows of shaded chocolate-brown and buff-brown linked lozenges each containing a central rosette issuing angular flowerheads, in a buff-brown border of angular boteh vine between pistachio-green floral vine and chocolate-brown flowerhead vine stripes, outer chocolate-brown angular floral vine stripe.
