Hand knotted in wool, an antique 9x11 Persian Heriz rug joining Rug & Kilim’s coveted Antique & Vintage collection. Originating circa 1920-1930, the piece exudes traditional tribal vibes by showcasing an impeccable play of geometric elements and motifs springing from a well defined rectilinear medallion pattern. With brilliant red and royal blue dominating the field and few parts of the border, the rug enjoys a tasteful inclusion of beige tones to lighten up the scale allowing a medley of lighter colours like pastel green to play and surface. A beautiful piece from this lineage, existing in exemplary condition, making it well suited for spacious drawing rooms and dining rooms welcoming such magnificent size and quality.
