Hand knotted in brilliant silk originating circa 1950-1960, this vintage Persian rug connotes a rare midcentury Qum rug design, one of an exceptional pair able to be sold individually or together for collectors interested in the exceptional design lineage celebrated in this red and beige brown colorway. The modern appeal of this particular vintage Qum rug cannot be understated, very ahead of its time in the movement of the floral motifs against the stripes and even in the more classic border style with such a smart, rich look seldom seen in an unusual pattern.
