This rather well-drawn rustic carpet shows a scalloped red field centred by a four palmettes, octogramme navy medallion with ragged palmette pendants. Ivory conjoint corner pieces. Spiky leaves and flowers. Navy-black strip-style border with symmetric arrays of reversing turtles. Cotton foundation, medium-coarse weave. As new condition.
