Long Persian Bidjar Kurdish Runner with small Paisley Design in Red, Blue, Brown, 13-1108, Great Northwest Persian Bidjar Kurd runners are renowned for their superior use of color. This charming rug uses a full spectrum of vegetable dyes ranging from brown, blue, salmon, soft red and green. Diagonal rows of blue and green floral paisleys radiate against a coral field. A similar interplay between light and dark is seen in the border system. green is used sparingly and with great effect. Measures: 3'7 x 16'.

    A vintage Kurdish Bidjar runner in a geometric medallion pattern set on an abrash terracotta red field color from the early 1900s. There are five medallions in the field connected via a line ending in a smaller medallion on each end. The border consists of three narrow borders one in French Blue, the other in brown and the last one in pale yellow or ivory. Interesting and very charming design items include small animal and human forms throughout the field and the borders. The rug is also dated 1329 in the Islamic calendar which corresponds to 1911. A wonderful rug that brings beauty and heritage to any space it is displayed on.
