Persian Northwest Hand Knotted Antique Blue Mauve Tribal Rug 1930 Circa

About the Item

This stunning piece is from Northwest in Iran. Northwest refers to a diverse group of antique Persian rugs from west of Tehran, north of Bijar and south of Tabriz. The colors in this rug are dominated by different nuances of indigo blue, salmon, blue, ivory and green. The size is 4 feet wide by 4 feet 9 inches tall. The age of this unique piece goes back to 1930’s circa which makes it a very unique piece for your home. The pile and foundation are wool. The design is all over geometric diamond shape pattern. It is important to note that in different light settings of the house, the rug may seem slightly lighter or darker. This is a pre-owned rug with a good condition for its age.
