About the Item
A sun face on the comb fringed central palmette is among the charming naive details on this nicely abrashed tan-camel tone NW Persian carpet. Other amusing elements include tribal animals and two human figures, presumably the weavers, and a unidirectional array of "parachute" flowers on long, straight stems. Narrow plain red Sub-field surround and red border with lollipop flower and simple birds. Good condition. Genuine rustic artifact.
