Providing the perfect subdued and inviting atmosphere for virtually any interior, this Persian Khotan carpet measures 8' x 9'7" and belongs to the Orley Shabahang World Market Collection. Entirely hand-knotted, the interior field, filled with interconnected vine, butterfly, and flower motifs, has soft pastel detailing, completed in soft cream, gray, light blue, and gold wool. Moving outward, the multi-level exterior border symbolizes the garden's outer walkway and completes the carpet's composition. Due to the repetitive nature of the design, furniture can be placed partially on or entirely on the rug without losing any of the Khotan design's allure.
