Vintage Dargazin Long Rug with Herati Design
About the Item
This Hamadan district kellegi (long rug) shows a broken allover Herati design centred on a column of internally rayed diamonds, on an ecru ground. Pale blue strip style border of modules of rosettes and drooping florets. Dergazines are usually red, so this one is especially uncommon tonally. Moderate weave on cotton. Good condition.
