Vintage Distressed Malayer Rug Runner
About the Item
Repeating allover stylized Herati motif atop an amazing soft blue abrashed field. Colors and shades include: Sky blue, powder blue, beige, sand, antique ivory, and light striations of aubergine closer to one end. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with light isolated areas of foundation showing through. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer rug runner made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 5'3" x 16'5".
