This hand knotted wool vintage Persian Pictorial rug features a bright and lively garden scene of a Dervish with his master wearing traditional Persian garb and a Sufi CAP. Blossoming trees and doves, birds of peace, surround the Dervish as his master presents him with a tabazine (ax) and a kashkol (begging bowl). Drawing inspiration from Nur Ali Shah and Mostaq Ali Shah combined with ancient Persian history and vibrant colors, this Persian Pictorial rug creates a foundation for an enchanting and heavenly story. It is enclosed with Meander tulip border. The colors in this pictorial tapestry are vibrant. The dervish's aqua hair and bright pink nails are a charming contrast against the ink blue backdrop.
