:: Allover covered field in serrated leaves, geometric blossoms, birds, animals, and possibly even a turtle. Wrapped by a reciprocating Samovar main border with Northwest Persian blossom and meandering vine design motif and interior minor borders in continuous botehs. Very unusual amount of figural design elements in addition to a change in design formatting whereas the borders appear ajar and scale changed part way through the weaving. The carpet has not been reduced, this is a unique nuance to some on-the-fly adjustment while the carpet was on the loom. Colors and shades include: Deep indigo blue, dusty blush, dusty rose, ivory, dark chocolate brown, sapphire blue, powder blue, chestnut, rust, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Tatter to sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 4'9" x 5'10".
