Vintage Persian Heriz Serapi in All over Geometric Pattern in Ivory Color

About the Item

The beautiful Heriz with Serapi colors is in an all over pattern set on an ivory color field. This beautiful Heriz rug was woven in a village in the Azerbaijan district of NW Persia in the first quarter of the 1900s. It has a few very unique and highly desirable features. First, it is in an “allover design” and second, it has a very rare cream color field, and finally, it is “near square” size. It has geometric designs throughout in wonderful abrash blue, green, pink, yellow, and red. The rug overall is in very good condition with a full pile.
