About the Item

Age: Circa 1940 Colors: tan, blue, brown, black, teal Pile: low Wear Notes: 2 Material: Wool on cotton. Early to mid 20th century Persian Karaja with a warm tan field and blue medallions that are symbolic of regional insects and foliage. Traditional design with a sophisticated earthy color palette. Safe for high traffic. Wear Guide: Vintage and antique rugs are by nature, pre-loved and may show evidence of their past. Repairs may be visible upon close inspection. 7-8 Moderate wear throughout. Some repairs may be visible upon close inspection. Most of our rugs with this level of wear have a fully restored foundation that is strong and free of holes. 9-10 Heavy wear, lots of foundation showing. Repairs may be visible upon close inspection. Most of our rugs with this level of wear have a fully restored foundation that is strong and free of holes. Patching: Some rugs have visible patches that are different from even wear. We will note these accordingly in each product description.
